2. Services

Nordiso provides professional software development, database design solutions, cloud infrastructure, UI/UX design, and related technology services. Our services are provided on a project basis or through ongoing service agreements as specified in individual contracts.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all intellectual property rights in deliverables created by Nordiso shall be transferred to the client upon full payment. However, Nordiso retains the right to use general knowledge, methodologies, and tools developed during the project for other purposes.

Pre-existing intellectual property, open-source components, and third-party licenses remain the property of their respective owners. Clients are granted appropriate licenses as specified in project agreements.

4. Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of our clients' information. All proprietary information, business data, and project details shared with us will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of delivering our services.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in individual project agreements or service contracts. Unless otherwise agreed, standard payment terms are:

Invoices are payable within 14 days of invoice date
Project milestone payments as agreed in project scope
Late payments may incur interest as permitted by Finnish law

6. Service Level and Support

Service levels, response times, and support terms are defined in individual service agreements. We strive to provide high-quality services and timely support within agreed parameters.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, Nordiso's liability for any damages arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

We warrant that our services will be performed with professional care and skill. However, except as expressly stated in project agreements, our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet all client requirements unless specifically agreed in writing.

9. Delivery, Acceptance and Client Responsibility

Upon delivery of any application, software, or other deliverable to the client — whether as a test version, beta release, or final version — responsibility for its use, operation, and deployment transfers to the client.

The client is solely responsible for how the delivered application is used, operated, hosted, and maintained after handover.
Nordiso shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or consequences arising from the client's use, misuse, modification, or deployment of the delivered application.
Deliverables are deemed accepted upon delivery unless the client reports material defects in writing within the acceptance period specified in the project agreement.
Any modifications made to the deliverable by the client or third parties after delivery void any applicable warranties.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement with written notice as specified in the agreement. Upon termination, the client shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date.

11. Data Protection and GDPR Compliance

We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Finnish data protection laws. For detailed information about how we handle personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

12. Database Design Services

For database design, migration, and data management services:

All work on production databases is performed only with explicit written authorization
Database credentials and client data are handled confidentially and used solely for delivering the agreed services
Clients are responsible for maintaining independent backups and implementing recommended data management measures

13. Cloud Services

For cloud infrastructure and DevOps services, we work with various cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.). Clients are responsible for their cloud provider agreements and associated costs. We provide configuration, deployment, and management services as agreed.

14. Acceptable Use

Clients agree not to use our services for any unlawful purposes or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services or interfere with other parties' use of our services.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Finnish courts.
